You will lead the development and implementation of our engagement and communication strategy. This will bring to life our strategic change programmes, and proactively engage employees as our organisation evolves. The role will also provide change engagement and communications expertise, supporting and coaching senior stakeholders in change leadership. 

We're flexible about the location of this role, but when we return to office working you'll need to be within reasonable travelling distance of either our Wakefield or London office hubs.

This role is offered as a 23 month fixed term contract.

About The Role

Working as part of the Communications, Events and Graphics team, you will lead on the development and implementation of the engagement and communications strategy, which will set out the approach to change engagement. You will work to promote communication tools and techniques which are effective in leading and embedding change, sharing knowledge with colleagues to upskill and expand their understanding. 

The role will also proactively promote continuous improvements in engagement and communication as a business imperative. This will be across the whole organisation, maintaining and building on our award-winning reputation.

About You

With a passion for employee engagement and communications, you must be able to demonstrate deep knowledge of change communications and engagement theory. Your experience of communications for change management, both at strategic planning and implementation levels, is likely to be enhanced by a recognised qualification. Your skill set will include developing and distributing content, with particular emphasis on strong copy writing, and you'll need impeccable attention to detail. You'll also be to simplify complex information.

Your application should demonstrate the proven ability to deliver multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. You'll have a thorough understanding of stakeholder management and proven experience influencing and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
