This is a key lead role within an exciting and ambitious multi-disciplinary team, managing the Commissioning and Contracts Coordinator for wider team support. The successful candidate will be driven and have proven experience in developing creative and impactful commissioning strategies and delivery plans, specifically aimed at creating opportunities for collaboration.
You will be responsible for delivering best practice compliant commissioning strategies at pace for the team and drive forward the VRU workplan for delivery in terms of working through dynamic commissioning routes, ensuing stakeholder buy-in whilst ensuring value for money.
You will have demonstrable experience in the following areas:
- Leading and advising on effective contract arrangements, management and commissioning frameworks.
- Technical expert knowledge of the external market to inform senior level decision-making
- Leading compliant, effective and dynamic commissioning strategies at pace, advising on all aspects of the commissioning cycle and ensuring value for money is achieved.
- Excellent partnership relations with providers and external markets.
- Playing a proactive role in ensuring the achievement of strategic priorities
