We are recruiting to a new fixed-term role in the team delivering the Workforce Integration Network (WIN) in the Social Integration team.
WIN is a flagship Mayoral programme working to create systemic change in London’s workforce by addressing underrepresentation, with an initial focus on increasing opportunities for young black men in construction and tech. A Mayoral priority, as part of the Mayor’s Strategy for Social Integration (https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/communities/all-us-mayors-strategy-social-integration), this work is of increasing importance in London’s recovery from Covid-19 and relates to the Good Work recovery mission area (https://www.london.gov.uk/coronavirus/londons-recovery-coronavirus-crisis/recovery-context/helping-londoners-good-work).
As a senior officer in the WIN team, you will support the day-to-day management of the programme. Your responsibilities will include project and people management as well as engaging directly with businesses, commissioning research and resources to inform both the design and delivery of the programme. You will have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and use these to further the aims of the programme.
You’ll be joining a dedicated, warm and passionate team. The ideal candidate will care deeply about and have a strong policy understanding of labour market equality and workforce integration issues affecting underrepresented groups. You will have experience of successfully managing projects within a high-profile programme, experience commissioning research and managing delivery partners and strong stakeholder management skills.
The Mayor has announced that City Hall will be relocating from More London (London Bridge) to the Crystal Building in the Royal Docks. These roles will be based at The Crystal Building (from January 2022). Further information on the relocation announcement, can be found here.
