BAME Recruitment are delighted to partner with Museum of London who are recruiting a brand new role of Head of Digital Innovation.

This important role will lead on digital transformation and foster innovation throughout the Museum of London. The right candidate will be at the heart of the museum’s digital work, as well as steering and implementing the digital vision for the museum’s future, in the context of a new museum in West Smithfield, the largest cultural project in Europe. You will work alongside senior leaders, ensuring that the digital transformation is considered in every last detail. As Head of Digital Innovation, you will play an active role in strategic development and implementation of innovative thinking, and you will help lead and motivate the web team as well as coordinating work from other colleagues working on digital activity. You should possess a commitment to great digital activity and be able to advocate for the value of good, future-proofed, digital capability, in an organisation that champions learning, exploration and adventure.

The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience and track record of leading and implementing successful digital transformation programmes, to facilitate strategic goals, with the ability to take a digital plan into its execution. You will have excellent communication skills in order to motivate your team, utilise team members effectively and delegate appropriately. The social impact of the New Museum Project will be a priority and the Head of Digital Innovation will be expected to support these objectives.
