Job objectives and responsibilities

  • Maintaining all existing marketing materials to ensure content is up to date and aligned with Technical Services strategy
  • Develop engaging, creative content that is targeted at different audiences to inform them of the Technical Services value proposition
  • Build a content development programme that delivers proactive marketing materials
  • Work collaboratively across the TS business to understand content requirements
  • Propose innovative new ideas for how to make content more engaging, working in collaboration with the Design team
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of content is maintained at a high level and is consistent in its tone of voice
  • Identify customer’s needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Bid library content ownership to ensure content being used in bids is relevant and up to date
  • Provide support to the proposals team for specific content projects as required

Main duties

  • Research, write and produce clear marketing material including, but not limited to:
    • Brochureware
    • White papers / Thought Leadership articles
    • Case studies
    • Playbooks
    • Virtual Product Catalogue
  • Work with the TS Marketing, Communications and Design team to develop content that supports campaigns including web content and social media posts
  • Support development of industry award entries to ensure the highest level of quality and submission
  • Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product value propositions, videos and blogs
  • Maintain and grow the repository for marketing materials so Sales and SAM’s have easy access to all approved materials
  • Support with the development of product and service propositions and the subsequent materials required for marketing through to bids
  • Support the review of marketing, sales and bid materials to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging across the entire sales process.
  • Work with Group to ensure Technical Services messaging is included in Group level marketing and communications
  • Work with the proposals teams to ensure that our messaging is consistent and aligns with the messaging being used in marketing

Person specification


  • Experience in a similar position with a strong background in writing engaging content
  • Ability to take technical information and explain it clearly and concisely
  • Ability to meet deadline without compromising quality
  • Demonstrate versatility and flexibility in a constantly evolving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint


  • Experience within the facilities management industry
  • Demonstrable expertise in delivering service excellence
  • Proven Business Development expertise
  • Experience of Adobe InDesign software
  • Qualification in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
