The University of Salford is now seeking to appoint up to four new external members of Council. Council members support the development of the University, overseeing its strategy and long-term future. Using your skills, experience and a broad perspective, you could help the University to fulfil its mission. In return, you will have an opportunity to develop your professional profile and networks, working alongside a supportive team of your fellow Council members and staff.

The University of Salford currently has a highly dynamic and engaged group of members of Council who contribute a wide variety of skills and experience to the University. The University is seeking a diverse range of skills derived from a range of occupations and professions and sectors (public and private). Salford is an innovative and inclusive institution and it is therefore keen to hear from candidates at different points in their careers. We would particularly welcome interest from those with backgrounds in finance, accounting and HR but we are open to a range of skillsets, expertise and backgrounds. We would also welcome applications from those with strong connections to Salford and Greater Manchester.
